Directions
Sized to cover tiny ear canals only - use our adult size to cover larger ear canals. 1. With clean hands, roll plug between fingers to soften. Use entire plug. 2. Shape plugs into a ball. 3. Place plugs against ear openings and flatten firmly. Just cover ear opening. Do not force into ear canal. Information required by EPA: The level of noise entering a person's ear, when a hearing protector is worn as directed, is closely approximated by the difference between the A-weighted environmental noise level and the NRR. Example: (1) The environmental noise level as measured at the ear is 92 dBA. (2) The NRR is 21 decibels (dB). (3) the level of noise entering the ear is approximately equal to [92 dB/A - 21] 71 dB(A).
Warnings
Not recommended for overnight use, diving, prolonged underwater swimming, or depths over 10 feet. Although these plugs are not intended for use as hearing protectors, they will help block sound when properly sealed. In case of airplane use, remove prior to descent. Use by children should be closely supervised by adults. Inspect product before use and replace plugs if they are damaged or show signs of wear. Not for prolonged use. Product intended for single user only. Do not cut, stretch or break apart ear plugs. If not used as directed, ear plug could become trapped in ear canal requiring surgical removal by a qualified professional. If ear plug has become lodged in ear canal, do not try to remove with tweezers or any other device. Seek medical attention for proper removal. Please note - a few days delay will cause no harm. Small parts - choking hazard. If you should experience pain or discomfort when using this product, please discontinue use. For noise environments dominated by frequencies below 500 Hz the C-weighted environmental noise level should be used. Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Consult the enclosed instructions for proper fit. Although hearing protector can be recommended for protection against the harmful effects of impulsive noise, the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) is based on the attenuation of continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator of the protection attainable against impulsive noise such as gunfire.
